Hailing from Montreal, Canada, The City Gates create a musical blend of post-punk and shoegaze. Their sound results from a mix of highlights of dark, obscure alternative music drenched in reverb, fuzz, and delays. The band shared stages with Trisomie 21, A Place to Bury Strangers, Actors, Hapax, Solar Fake, Nothing, The Veldt, and more.

Resplandor (Den Haag)

Resplandor currently based in the Netherlands has a long history in the shoegaze scene, their latest albums ‘Pleamar’ and ‘Tristeza’ have been produced/mixed by Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins and mastered by Simon Scott of Slowdive. Their latest album ‘Tristeza’ has been included in several lists around the world among the best albums of 2022.

Resplandor has supported The Cure (2013 & 2023), Slowdive, The Jesus & Mary Chain, The House Of Love, The Radio Dept. among others and has played at festivals such as Grauzone (The Hague, NL), SXSW (Austin, USA), Culture Collide (Los Angeles, USA), Veltrac Music Festival (Lima, PE), touring Europe, North and South America.

Death By Audio (Rotterdam)

Death By Audio offers full-throttle rides through desolate guitar landscapes, creating a haunting, intrusive sound that likes to get under your skin. These four Dutch lads know how to engage and excite with their post-rock and post-punksoaked shoegaze.

Death By Audio’s latest EP “Beautiful Parasite” (a lockdown live recording mastered by RIDE’s Mark Gardener) showcases their sound well; boisterous, dazzling lovesongs packed with autumnal dejection.
